6. Why KENKYU Group impose Article Processing Charges for publishing in its Journals?

The journals in KENKYU Group are in Open access format. The scientific community across the world can have a free access to the articles published in our journals and can download it for free. KENKYU does not receive any subscription charges from its users and does not receive funding from any organization or Institutions. The Journals are financed by the processing charges received from authors and some academic/corporate sponsors. The processing charges are required to meet maintenance of the journals. Authors are required to pay a fair handling fee for processing their articles. Authors are required to make payment only after their manuscript has been accepted for publication.
